The people behind three decades of Screenex.
A small, deliberate faculty — built around mentorship, written feedback and the long discipline of teaching young children well.
Learn. Prepare. Succeed. · Trusted by parents since 1993.
Three educators. One institution.
The Director, Lead Mentor and Course Director continue to teach inside the institution they built.
Three decades of teaching across foundation and entrance-exam streams. Continues to mentor a small group of senior students every year.
Leads the mentorship culture and pastoral rhythm of the institution. Personally oversees hostel students.
Designs the foundation curriculum and the entrance-exam streams. Author of the weekly assessment and feedback model.
How we teach, and why.
Six convictions that shape every classroom, every mentor session and every parent conversation.
Foundation first, examinations later
Concepts are sequenced so they compound. The entrance examination becomes a milestone the child walks past, not a wall they climb.
Small cohorts, close attention
Class sizes are kept deliberately small so every child is read, questioned and corrected — every week.
Written, individual feedback
Every assessment returns with mentor notes. Parents see the same notes the child does.
The habit of reasoning
Method is taught alongside content. A child who can explain their thinking is a child who can adapt to any examination.
Character and calm
Composure, courtesy and self-direction are treated as academic outcomes — not afterthoughts.
Honest reporting of progress
We tell parents what is working, what isn't, and what we plan to do about it. Always.
The teaching, mentor and pastoral teams.
Detailed individual profiles will be published progressively as photography and biographies are approved.
A core team of subject teachers across Mathematics, English, Science, Reasoning and General Awareness. Detailed profiles will be published progressively.
A small mentor team responsible for individual academic guidance, weekly reviews and parent communication.
Resident wardens and pastoral staff overseeing daily life, meals, study and rest for hostel students.
How a mentor works with a child.
Step 1
A mentor is assigned
Every new student is paired with a mentor who stays with them through their journey at Screenex.
Step 2
A quiet diagnostic
Strengths, gaps and learning style are mapped over the first two weeks — without pressure on the child.
Step 3
Weekly one-to-one reviews
A scheduled, unhurried review of the week — academic, behavioural and personal.
Step 4
Written feedback to the parent
A monthly mentor letter goes home. Direct, specific and free of jargon.
Step 5
Early, gentle intervention
When progress stalls, we move quickly — additional support before frustration sets in.
What a child can rely on at Screenex.
Academic support
Doubt clinics, catch-up sessions and a mentor on call for the questions that surface after class.
Emotional well-being
A calm, attentive pastoral environment. Children are heard before they are corrected.
Exam readiness
Mock interviews, written practice and the quiet rehearsal of composure that examinations reward.
Parent partnership
Parents are kept inside the loop — never on the outside, never surprised at the end of term.
Every successful journey begins with a strong foundation.
Your child's story could become the next chapter in The Screenex Legacy.
